s u g g e s t e d d i r e c t i o n s - scroll down slowly with your arrow key and read slowly and carefully - - before reading, slow your breathing -- 5 or so seconds per inhale, exhale - - try to balance exhales with inhales on the basis of how long they take - - pretend for a few minutes that you move, read and think in slow motion - Can you imagine allowing yourself to take a few minutes to entertain a few thoughts that might assist you to allow the possibility that you can entertain certain thoughts that without really understanding how can foster a subtle increase in a certain sense of personal, inner calm progressively, imperceptibly, beginning with the letting go of certain tensions in a certain muscle or certain muscles or a certain inner sensation that can signal certain inner changes, less noticeable that you can control and avoid if you were to choose to as you can with many other experiences without necessarily noticing that now your mind may also allow the possibility of a growing sense of hope and a growing sense of resiliency and security in a subtly growing faith in your self imperceptively, progressively entering into your heart and mind as you notice that as you breathe in you can feel that sense of the air in your lungs (the oxygen enriching, soothing, healing) and as you breathe out, feeling the sensation of the air, slowly moving out of you from your lungs..., you might imagine the air spinning around you weaving into the silken armor of invisible energy around you and allowing certain thoughts which are at first unnoticed that can bring a certain sense of security and safety in recognizing that you have actually survived everything so far and that it can be as possible to make molehills out of mountains as the other way around and can you allow yourself to feel that thought subltly working within your mind as you let yourself also focus on your breathing for another moment or two as you just take another brief moment to let thoughts digest outside any real awareness as you feel yourself breathe for just a moment with eyes closed... |
