The books, sites and articles below are resources that I have found very helpful. When possible I have set up a link to the products (books, etc.) that pays me a small amount as a referral commission. Individual books recommended below are first and foremost recommended as suggested helpful resources. The little commissions are secondary to their inclusion here but they do their little part in helping to keep me going at my writing and other efforts that I offer free. If you find my website helpful, please support my efforts.
100 Promises To My Baby offers a wonderful range of ideas about positive, self-esteem promoting, kid-sabotaging-avoiding ideas for parents who want to raise strong, happy children.

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle,
Hello, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle,
Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Farm and
Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Magic Four fabulous little books. Each book is a collection of therapeutic stories focused on life lessons for kids ages 6 to 10 (e.g., dealing with bath avoidance, fears, lying). Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's lessons are great fun for kids and Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle herself -- her patient way of dealing with and understanding kids -- is a GREAT role model for parents, teachers and anyone else who works with kids (she's my role model, for sure). By Betty MacDonald and published by HarperCollins Children's Books, a division of HarperCollins Publishers, NY.

| Harry and the Haunted House intereactive CD
This is a colorful little story of a group of kids (actually a group made up of a puppy, a kitten, a young skunk and some others) that are playing baseball and accidentally hit a ball into a "haunted house" which though does have some unscarry ghost-like happenings for them when they go for their ball, it turns out that they mostly are just scaring themselves and imagining things. A nice little gift for a child who deals with more fearfulness as is practical for them.
