Elemental Resources Re: Ideas and Issues About Modifying, Muddling and/or Mugging the Cosmos
Below are some very interesting resources on quantum physics and ways of viewing, experiencing and relating to life, reality and the issues of anxiety, depression, self-image, self-esteem, death and whatever. They can be excellent resources for those who tend to be intellectual and philosophical about life and who find organized religions too simplistic to mentally and emotionally grab onto.
Some of the resources below are about physics. Those who have not updated themselves on quantum physics -- which was never mentioned once in my 31 years of formal education and which I have been shocked to learn has been state-of-the-art thinking since the 1940's -- should really take a look. Scientific evidence -- the stuff that makes our tvs and cell phones work -- shows that time is a dimension like height and length, that time above the first floor of any building is slower than time at the bottom floor, that everything that will happen has already happened, that nothing is anywhere in particular until someone looks to see where it is (that your computer, for example, when you close your office door and leave it alone, is spread throughout the cosmos until you look again to see where it is), and that basically everything exists as a wave and a probability until a consciousness takes a look.
Other of the resources below present views that life and all it's complexities have great, significant purpose -- that there is an afterlife, that it may be more complex than sitting in one spot feeling good for eternity, and that every little thing in this life may have direct or indirect great purpose.
All of the resources below are offered as intellectually stimulating caches of ideas that can be very interesting, comforting and possibly helpful in dealing with stress, depression, anger, anxiety and life in general.
